Historically, there have been some other pages here that have lost their purpose over time. On my home page, I mentioned that I never retire a single page, so here are some ancient links for your enjoyment. The information on these pages is outdated, and don't complain about defunct links within them.

• The Disney Feature Vote Counter.

  In 1995, I put a lot of work in a couple of CGI scripts. They managed a vote database, where everybody was invited to submit grades for all Disney movie. Actually, this was long before the Internet Movie Database started doing the same.

  It was retired because the peaceful effort was bombed by a student from Rutgers university who continued to submit highest marks for his favorite movie, Saludos Amigos, and lowest marks for all others.

  I started implementing a new service where people had to register to avoid double votes, but it was never finished.

• During the time when I was active in the Disney community on Usenet (around 1994-1997), we were organized as "RAD Hosts" (RAD for rec.arts.disney, the original name of the newsgroup before its split in 1997). These were the folks with the most expertise in all things Disney who answered most of the questions in the group.

  Here is a list of the RAD Hosts from 1995. I would be surprised if many of the listed email addresses still work. Note how many of them are .edu addresses; I'm sure that many of these students have finished since.

• I also put up a Web page with some guidelines for new users of the Disney newsgroups, with some general information about the groups, and a little netiquette. Again, the links within are almost certainly defunct.

• Once I rounded up some of the RAD Hosts to offer a Send A Disney Mail service (also known as the RADHAHA connection), where people could submit all sorts of Disney questions that were then delivered to one of us for answering. Here is an email that defined a set of policies for ourselves.

• Some information from a Press Release prior to the release of Pocahontas.
